Flexibility - Inca 4400 Modular Chassis

The Inca Modular Series 4400 transcoder allows operators to affordably scale their infrastructure and easily add capacity with business growth. The 4400 8VSB module ensures operators can match antenna feeds with studio direct fiber feeds in their markets to receive, monitor and stream all OTA sources.  Add optional audio or video transcodes or upgrade to ATSC 3.0 when available by implementing a cost-saving strategy to consolidate video equipment.
R

1RU Receiver with Optional Transcoding

The Inca 4400 with 8VSB allows operators to receive all major and minor channels from broadcast sources and stream IP out. Eight physical RF ports provide flexibility for any market and multiple antenna tower deployment. This scalable platform can process up to 10 IP direct studio feeds with the option to transcode, transrate or downscale to MPEG-2 or MPEG-4.

Operational Visibility and Reliability

Inca’s 8VSB offering includes Intelligent Stream Redundancy (ISR) licenses and VidiOSmanagement. ISR provides automatic source failover and recovery between studio direct and OTA feeds. Monitor all sources from a central platform with Inca’s VidiOS™ monitoring and troubleshooting tool, featuring inbound and outbound video thumbnails, stream download, extensive statistical analysis, and end-to-end process logging.

Save on Space, Power & Headend Costs
