This is Linda from Inca. I’m going to tell you about our powerful platform the Inca Modular Series 4400.

With this flexible solution, you can optimize the format, resolution and bitrate of large numbers of live satellite, IP and off-air digital sources for delivery to set-top boxes or multiscreen devices.

This high-density transcoder can transcode, transrate or downscale up to 36 HD or 90 SD programs to MPEG-4 — in just 1RU, with integrated grooming and monitoring of all streams.

The Modular Series 4400 is available in three chassis options with one, two or three expansion module bays, and includes front-end module options to support GigE, QAM, 8VSB, or ASI inputs.

Like all Inca products, the 4400 includes our Intelligent Video Delivery system, powered by VidiOS™, our advanced processing and monitoring engine, viewable on any web browser.

VidiOS™ provides carrier-grade control and deep visibility into every step of the video processing chain. Features include program and PID filtering and remapping, stream grooming, stream analysis tools with inbound and outbound video thumbnails, stream sample downloads, extensive statistical analysis and end-to-end process logging.

Every Inca product also includes integration with our All Seeing Eye monitoring platform, which provides mosaic views and network-wide oversight of all channels in a single web browser.

The 4400 is ideally suited for large-scale headend applications. Carrier-class features include SNMP trap forwarding, AC or DC power options, 10Gig SFP+ support, hot-swappable power and fans along with chassis and stream redundancy.

The 4400 high-density transcoder supports MPEG-2, MPEG-4 and HEVC sources and outputs, allowing you to maintain legacy equipment or expand into new technologies as your business needs grow.
